Rev. John Shatananda - Our Presbyter-in-charge
Rev. John Shatananda, a senior pastor in the Mumbai Diocese, can best be described as a Friend more than a preacher. God has used him to accomplish much of His Glory in this church. As a preacher, he delivers sermons that are very practical to understand and apply in our lives. Under his leadership, we celebrated over 130 years.
Rev. Shatananda is originally a pastor from C.S.I. Mangalore, who has been serving the C.N.I. Bombay Diocese since the last 12 years. He is the son of Late Rev. D.S. Shatananda & Mrs. E.M. Shatananda, 3rd generation in the priesthood. He has completed his B. Com. from Mysore University, Diploma in Theology from Bangalore, B.D. from Serempore University and D.R. Ed. from Birmingham University (U.K.) His wife, Mary Shatananda, the President of the Women''''''''s Fellowship who labours tirelessly to serve others and mainly a very strong support to Rev. He has 2 children Chris Shatananda and Andy Shatananda. Chris, his wife Mini and daughter Eva Faith are very active, currently at YMCA, Mumbai. Rev.''''''''s second son, Andy Shatananda, a member of the Pastorate Committee and a great helper at every needy hour.
